These barstools were exactly what I needed for my breakfast bar. They look great, feel sturdy, and were easy to put together. Like some other reviewers mentioned, the wood appears to be laminated and seems prone to cracking, which was a little disappointing. This perfectly designed set of bar stools is a great way to complement a dining room or kitchen in a mid-century modern, transitional or glamour style. The fabric upholstery is stitched to create a diamond pattern, which adds visual interest to the chair. Slender legs, made of powder-coated metal, and a footrest combine a modern look with additional comfort while seated.
