It is actually pretty comfortable if you don’t sit on the seam. It is firm but softens over time. The feel of the material is soft, which I like. It isn’t slick, but feels like worn leather. It is holding up beautifully — no problems. I paid about $250 more than the current price. So this is a good deal. I feel that it was a good investment and I am happy! This is large and spacious with thick well-padded. Covered in a Hessian fabric it’s very durable and easy to maintain. One of the best features of this is the backrests making it so much easier to manoeuvre them through doors. The sofa is ok. I think it I had tried it in store it wouldn't have been my first choice. It is a little hard and the seat isn't as high as I thought it was.however it fits well in the space,seems to be of good quality and is the correct colour and compliments the chairs I have previously purchased from wayfair..
