The bed is completely unsuitable for purpose, is flimsy and broke the second my 8 year old lay on it. I’ve had to buy a tonne of solid wood to reinforce it as it’s beyond flimsy After it collapsed I checked the weight limit and it says 0kg! This is NOT a typo…. It cannot hold any weight and is basically a decorative item…. Be it not a good one as chipped and cheap looking. Do not buy. It is a terrible quality bed. I ended up taking the parts to the recycling centre after partially making it. It came with so many smaller pieces that did not align properly. The white laminate chips. The joins don’t line up. You are also expected to line up the internal wooden baton edging to hold the mattress on the outside frame yourself. I wasted £140 on this. My friend has spent A WHOLE DAY (11 hours to be precise ) trying to build this bed and as previous reviewer said , you need the right tools to build it and none of this has been stated in the description considering it’s such an important and time consuming , as well as bulky thing to order, get delivered and build. Material is flimsy , it’s very complicated and it’s just a joke and a rip off from the people . Whoever actually designed it should get sacked and the bed discontinued because I’ve got a little baby in the house and I’ve just spend a whole day messing about with space and stress not to even finish it up in one day ! If no star was an option i wouldhave chosen. DO NOT BUY! Very bad insructions to put together but we had already opened it and started building so could not return. Also my husband is quite the handy man so was able to do other with his tools over a couple of days. Not like the usual flat pack furniture where holes etc are already made, and quite flimsey… worried about the weight of mattress. also will only fit a small single mattress. Tellls you somewhere in description but you have to look for it. Unfortunately we didn’t see till after and are in process of exchanging the standard single mattress that we had ordered. While this bed was great looking. It was pretty much the worst made bed in the world. It was in 100 pieces when certain pieces could’ve been sent flat packed. Pieces of wood were not cut equally, screw holes didn’t line up so getting it together was near impossible and I had to miss out a few screws and drill my own wholes. It needed sanding and it took around 10 hours to build if I’d not got half way through it before I realised just how horrible it was I’d of sent it back. Really nice bed, not quite easy to assemble (2 people absolutely needed, get yourself a small flat wrench and electric screwdrivers since tools are not included).
