Lovely bed frame.... once its assembled. Tricky to put together, very difficult to fit some of the parts together. My friend has spent A WHOLE DAY (11 hours to be precise ) trying to build this bed and as previous reviewer said , you need the right tools to build it and none of this has been stated in the description considering it’s such an important and time consuming , as well as bulky thing to order, get delivered and build. Material is flimsy , it’s very complicated and it’s just a joke and a rip off from the people . Whoever actually designed it should get sacked and the bed discontinued because I’ve got a little baby in the house and I’ve just spend a whole day messing about with space and stress not to even finish it up in one day ! The bed frame is excellent. Sturdy, fits together well and contains the mattress with no gaps. Make sure you have an electric screwdriver! As you have to put the slats in manually with screws, as well as the slat rests I marked down as the headboard is a different story - does not fit together well, leaving gaps on show and some of the wood was damaged. This bed is indeed real wood- unfinished and so roughly sawn we had to sand it ourselves to avoid splinters and the bedding catching. The instructions were some of thr most complicated and unclear I have ever used ( I actually enjoy putting together flat pack furniture), it took two of us 5hrs in the end to complete. The fasteners struggled to fit correctly ( we had to use a mattel to it fitted together), there was an excessive amount needed (think more metal in the fame then wood now). The screw heads have changed shape by installation. The order of instructions wasn't very good. It would have been much easier to attached the slat holding battons before the bedframe was put together and upright. We have kept it as so send it back would be just as long as to take it apart! Das Bett ist eine Katastrophe! Es sieht zwar sehr schön aus, aber man kann sich nicht einmal kurz auf die Seite drehen ohne das es in allen Ecken knackt und knarzt!!! Really nice bed, not quite easy to assemble (2 people absolutely needed, get yourself a small flat wrench and electric screwdrivers since tools are not included). Beautiful bed, structurally sound and extremely handy for small spaces too! Assembling it is enjoyable, make sure you have a drill / screwgun with a hex/Allen key bit! The wood for the headboard is not coloured or planed or even sanded. Some filling pieces to cover the large holes for the jointing pieces would be handy.
