Lovely shelf. The colour is a deep red rather than blood red which is great. I wouldn't recommend placing very heavy items. I have cookbooks and a few items to display in the kitchen. Looks sophisticated and works very well. The delivery was also super smooth. I am giving only 4 stars and not 5 because the instructions in the manual could be a tad clearer.. Anonymous. Not as expected but it’s fine for kids.. Leela. Reading, GB. Sat Jan 17 2026

This highboard offers both decorative appeal and practical storage, making it a perfect addition to your home.

Never normally someone who posts reviews but I’m very disappointed as this looked lovely on the website and the quality seems great but it’s genuinely the worst piece of furniture i’ve ever tried to build. Incredibly time consuming item that comes with 163 (yes, one hundred and sixty three) screws. Instructions are very unclear for something with so many parts, and a lot of the screw holes just don’t line up to be able to make this properly. It would be easier trying to build a spaceship than this.. Ryan. Kent. Fri Sep 25 2026

Terrible! This is the first time I have ordered from Wayfair and I am not impressed at all. There are chips in several pieces of wood, the cheap plastic legs also have small chips in them. There are tears in both back boards and the spine that links the back boards together was not in the box. To top it all off when it was built, following the instructions, one of the shelves is not straight because the holes are in the wrong place. I appreciate I only paid £200 for this so don't expect the best quality however I do expect wood without chips in and all the pieces to be in tact. I have also ordered a desk, if this is the same quality then I will not be using Wayfair again.. K. Worksop, GB. Thu Oct 31 2019
