I can't even begin to express just how much i LOVE this bed! I was soooo nervous about this purchase but i did as much research as i possibly could.... if your unsure then this is the review you need! I was abit overwhelmed by all the pieces as they aren't labeled so you have to figure that out but the instructions are super easy to follow and it took me about 2 and half hours to assemble by myself so it is certainly doable for one person to do, i will be adding some canopy curtains too but its 5 stars from me, i would give more if i could! delivery driver was super helpful and brought it upstairs for me as it is really heavy, but everything down to customer services to the driver was 10 out of 10 <3 no squeaks as of yet too which is obviously a massive plus! I love this ottoman storage bed! It looks great and stores a lot of stuff. Delivery was on time. It takes two to put it together but was easy once we found the instructions and did not rely on the video alone. We decided not to attach the bottom to the bed as it only attached by Velcro. We store plastic boxes under our bed that are quite heavy, but they also cannot be seen under the bed so it works very well. The bed fits a standard double size (bought elsewhere) perfectly. Update on theses 2 x single beds we bought back in 23rd April 2025 (had em nearly a year). One of the single beds has broken. On the right side of the bed at the top where the two bolts hold the headboard on to the frame the bracket what the two screws into inside the frame as broken. The bed is lovely and assembly relatively easy - would have given 5 stars but the slats don't come automatically, you have to order them separately which seems weird. The actual slats are great but the assembly is pretty painful. Instructions are mediocre and we'd put several of the slats together before we realised that they had to be threaded into the fabric runner so we had to start again. The sprung slats increase comfort whilst also increasing the mattress life span. It has a classic buttoned headboard with padding for added comfort when sitting up in bed. You can choose from textured linen, sumptuous plush velvet, or glitzy crushed velvet. This ottoman bed features quality gas lift pistons and a large storage area that can be easily accessed by enabling a large variety of items to be tidily stored away. The mechanism is set for side opening and can be constructed for either side to open. The base is covered with a black fabric cloth so that the stored items are not in contact with the floor. It is suitable for use with all standard UK-size mattresses. The bed meets all UK FR and safety standards. It is supplied in flat-pack for self-assembly, with an approximate build time of 60-90 minutes.

Nice and sturdy bed fairly easy to assemble. Bought single bed for my grown-up daughter who is delighted. Soft velvet fabric and upholstered headboard. Good storage.
