Relatively easy to put together, seems quite sturdy. The head board is not as high as expected, I do have a thick mattress though, but thought it would be a little higher than it is. Bought the full-size for my tween and it's a very solid, attractive style that would have cost a lot more somewhere else. Comes as built in box . We just need to join together and few screw and logics as there was no manual book to it. The quality is good and study is ok. Without the mattress it could be bit flimsy .
