These are comfortable. They wipe down well. Yes, some crumbs get caught in certain parts of the construction but it wipes right out. I prefer the low backs as my dining table floats in my room.
These chairs are like a dining room version of a club or game table chair, which is perfect for our home. These chairs make sitting around the table a pleasure. Comfortable for dining, the long conversation that may continue at the table when guests are over, and sitting for long periods to play games. There's enough room in the seat to adjust your position for those long sits and the cushion is just enough to pad but offer support.
