Keen Replicas is a contemporary expression of classic furniture. Pieces handcrafted in solid mahogany wood, with careful details, natural finishing in mahogany-walnut colour and sand-cast brass fittings.

Actually a ZERO rating. Buyers should be aware that the advertising is misleading, as the item is listed on the website as a Solid Wood Winsor Back Accent by Keen Replicas, with the confirmation email stating same. It’s not until the morning of delivery when another email confirms that the item is actually an Armchair Miniature Slat by Keen Replicas that the scam becomes clear. On arranging for a return, you’re told that you will be charged £20 for the privilege. Customer Services, say that Wayfair policy will not allow for the return fee to be waived as the dimensions are hidden under the Weight and Dimensions tab on the product's webpage. It is my contention that Wayfair know that they are misleading customers by conducting business in this fashion. To then compound the issue by implementing return charges to increase their profit margin is simply daylight robbery, particularly when the return shipping fee will only be waived if I place another order of equal or greater value. Given that Wayfair seem to operate dubious business practices, I would suggest that this is a company to steer clear of.. Anonymous. Fri May 10 2024

Handcrafted in traditional Chinese style, this solid elmwood armchair is wonderful both displayed alone and with a statement cushion.

We chose it to match an existing desk and it goes perfectly and is very comfortable to sit on - use it every day for several hours at a time, and I do like comfort!. David. West Horrington Wells, . Fri Jan 08 2016

This type of Chinese chair takes its name from its yoke-shaped top rail and is commonly found as far back as the Ming Dynasty. Its S-shaped curved backrest contrasts beautifully with the slightly splayed legs. It includes a carved Chinese dragon motif on the backrest, and a rattan inlaid seat for extra comfort. Part of the Hangzhou furniture range, handcrafted from reclaimed elmwood.

Looking for a shabby elegant atmosphere for your decoration? You will love this dining chair. It has an elegant design and a luminous handmade patina with an aged effect. It will bring a unique character to your dining room or your office.

This Dining Chair was one of the first types of chair to emerge in China. The dragon motif is carved into the backrest and the classic shape and curves but augmented by exquisitely carved armrests. Slightly larger than the side chair, these armchairs look great in a bedroom or can be used at the head of our Dining Table for those extra special guests. Part of our Classical Chinese furniture range, handcrafted from reclaimed elmwood.

The Chinese developed folding furniture very early on, with folding stools being recorded from the Han dynasty almost two thousand years ago. The folding armchair was particularly common during the Ming dynasty and was made either for traveling or for easy storage. Our version is a very accurate reproduction of antique Chinese chairs from that time and is carved entirely by hand. The main carving on the backrest depicts a Kylin (a Chinese unicorn), while above is a coiled dragon inside a 'ruyi' shaped medallion - a symbol of prosperity. The seat is woven, while the chair is fitted with decorative mounts. The carved footrest also includes decoration. Made of reclaimed elm, this large chair is beautifully created and will add a wow factor to any room.
