Great stools, sturdy and well made. Didn’t end up keeping them though as the picture doesn’t reflect the stain of the wood well. These are great bar stools, and live up to my expectations. They arrived in good condition. The wood color is a nice walnut, styling in line with mid century modern. I really wanted black material but the dark brown was the only option. That being said, you can't really tell that it's brown unless you're really looking. The swivel on the chair is not too fast, which helps prevent slamming into the counter and nicking the wood, which is bound to happen. The width of the seat is comfortable for those with a larger backside. The back rest is a good height. But I'm short, 5'2", so... I can touch the footrest with my toes - no super comfort there, but most people are taller than me. They were a snap to put together. Put the seat upside down on a box or something a couple feet off the ground. That keeps the seat stable enough to screw in the legs. Overall, love these bar stools. I want more. Get them :). Mary. Initially the first delivery was delayed 3 times but second time around was as promised.
