It is actually pretty comfortable if you don’t sit on the seam. It is firm but softens over time. The feel of the material is soft, which I like. It isn’t slick, but feels like worn leather. It is holding up beautifully — no problems. I paid about $250 more than the current price. So this is a good deal. I feel that it was a good investment and I am happy! The sofas are lovely and deserve 5 stars. However the delivery driver said the boxes were too big to go through the front door, so he left them on the pavement outside the door.
