On the bottom, foot pads are placed to promote balance and protect your floor, whilst attachments can be found on the back to secure the wall, keeping the unit safely in place to prevent it from tipping over. The smooth melamine coating makes the surface easy to clean and protects against light marks.

Superb. This is a very good looking, substantial and well-engineered unit. It has good clear instructions and bolts together well in a very satisfying manner - I managed it easily and I’m in my 70’s. It does need anchoring to the wall though for safety and security. I didn’t use the fabric wall fixings that were enclosed and all bookshelf manufacturers tend to use as I feel they don’t do a good enough job. Instead I purchased a plywood shelf bracket that does a great job and is well hidden but the bit you see looks good to me. My wife and I are very pleased indeed as it looks so great.. Anonymous. This standard bookcase with 5 artik white shelves and different colour detail. Perfect for decorating the living room but also for separating two rooms or the children's bedroom.

Super quick and easy to build, took about 15 mins to assemble. Looks modern. The only negative I have is that some of the pieces had some surface scratches when then arrived but luckily these were on the underside of the shelves. Anonymous. Tue Sep 03 2024
