Reclaimed wood is already aged, weathered and dried, so it doesn't shrink or bend. This table is fully handmade and the beautiful wood grains make every piece of furniture unique and slightly different from each other. Oak generally dries very slowly, which can lead to the natural process of cracking and discolouration. Oak is a natural product which deserves a visible stage, which is why we only use natural-based lacquers and coatings which show off the grain marks and natural characteristics of oak. The oak wood in our collections is always 100% FSC certified.
