Crafted from solid rubberwood, this rustic bar stool adds a traditional touch to your kitchen scheme and also looks great displaying a houseplant as an alternative to a side table.

Another great purchase from Wayfair! I am absolutely delighted with the product. The stools are made of solid wood. I have them underneath the small breakfast bar in my kitchen and as they tuck it neatly underneath it, it does not overpower the kitchen. We managed to put them together with no difficulties. We did not use the alan key provided as we realised that you had to use quite a lot of force to get the self tapping screws in. Some of the reviews say that the wholes where you put the screws do not align and that they had to make the wholes bigger. The wholes do indeed not align, but this is because the screws to be used are self-tapping. If you use an electric alan key instead of the one that comes with the instruction set, you will find that there is no problem and that the stools can be put together easily. It only took us 30 minutes to put both stools together and that is accounting for the fact after several attempts of using the small allan key that came with the box, we realised that if would be a lot less of an effort to use an electric tool. These are great bar stools, and live up to my expectations. They arrived in good condition. The wood color is a nice walnut, styling in line with mid century modern. I really wanted black material but the dark brown was the only option. That being said, you can't really tell that it's brown unless you're really looking. The swivel on the chair is not too fast, which helps prevent slamming into the counter and nicking the wood, which is bound to happen. The width of the seat is comfortable for those with a larger backside. The back rest is a good height. But I'm short, 5'2", so... I can touch the footrest with my toes - no super comfort there, but most people are taller than me. They were a snap to put together. Put the seat upside down on a box or something a couple feet off the ground. That keeps the seat stable enough to screw in the legs. Overall, love these bar stools. I want more. Get them :). Mary.
