The taupe velvet is such a lovely neutral shade and looks really elegant in the bedroom without feeling too dark or overpowering. The bed feels really well made and sturdy, and the velvet upholstery is soft and looks even better in person. I love the ottoman storage — there is a huge amount of space underneath the mattress, which is perfect for storing spare bedding, blankets and anything else I want to keep out of sight. The hydraulic lift makes it really easy to access too. I also love how versatile the colour is. It gives the room a warm, cosy feel. The bed was the wrong colour but I’ve kept it as it still went with my bedroom as it was a grey colour but was supposed to be a blue. The instructions aren’t clear and it took a long time to build. Bed is beautiful couple of little things could of been better due to the price I paid for this the 2 by 2 plank of wood that goes through the middle was bent lucky enough my husband is I the building trade. so we replaced that and also the sheets of wood that hold the matress up doesnt fit correctly its a bit short in length so weve fixed that also, we decided to fix these problems ourselves as would of been a nightmare to pack backup to send back.
