Appalling quality. Countless splits in the wood. No edges have been sanded so lots of splinters while assembling. Took me (a qualified carpenter) over 4 hours to get together. Also to top it off there were some screw holes missing and some that don't line up. Also pretty much all of the joints don't tighten up nicely. Dreadful bed. If I hadn’t have had a guest due to stay I would have sent it straight back. There was absolutely no way the fixings for the bed slats would snap into place, if you pressed too hard they broke. This daybed with its three railed sides can double up as an additional seating area when space is an issue. The bed is made from a solid metal frame and features posture-sprung solid wooden slats. If purchased with the addition of the trundle bed not included this easily fits under the daybed when not in use, can be slid out courtesy of the well-placed wheels, and can be popped up to provide an extra bed when needed for those guests. This bed frame depends on the size of the frame purchased.
