Excellent bookcase for the money. Obviously not as sturdy as a solid wood bookcase, so be careful when assembling. But definitely good enough for the price. It took two of us about half an hour to put up and was fairly simple. It arrived with no damage whatsoever, which was something I was concerned about looking at previous reviews. Built, the bookshelf matches our furniture well and the adjustable shelves allowed us to adjust it to meet our needs. However...putting the back on this was a nightmare, and I'm someone who quite likes a bit of building.
