I put the first chair together easily in under fifteen minutes. However, when getting to the point of joining the base of the second chair to the seat, the bolts would not meet the threads. Having checked that bolts and threads were compatible I concluded that either the threads were set too deeply into the seat or the holes in the support were not deep enough. As this was the easiest solution I routed out the holes by 3mm. Good result! The base and seat are now secure. The only other thing (and I saw one other similar comment) is that the material is a little stretched looking in places.
