This base is working great for our cantilevered umbrella. It has wheels on the bottom edge of one side to make moving it a little easier. You can fill it with sand or water, and it has two sections. Installing the umbrella was quick and easy (but requires two people, since one needs to hold the umbrella upright). Check the dimensions because it does have a large footprint, but not really bigger than the feet the umbrella came with. For reference, the umbrella in the picture is 9 feet square and the table is 28" diameter.

NOT AS PER PHOTO..I purchased two cantilever umbrellas, 1) a 10 ft with a nice base same as photo of this base with wheels, 2) a 13 ft with an ok base. (No wheels) I really liked the base that came with the 10ft, so I decided to order this one...arrived but not as per photo... missing the centerpiece. If I didn't already have one with the centerpiece already installed I probably would not have thought about it much. The problem is that the umbrella sits 6 in lower and my shroud only covers the center hole when in a certain position, (when I turn the umbrella the hole shows). The umbrella base with the centerpiece allows you to bolt to the top of the base, The umbrella base with the large hole, you have to bolt the umbrella to the bottom cross bars..... I called customer service an explained the situation, they were great, and they said I should have received the umbrella base as per the photo... So I was quickly sent another base by Wayfair, but I just received it and I was sent the same as the one before, missing the centerpiece.... a bit disappointed, Now I will say it still works, JUST NOT AS PER PHOTO....look at my photos to see what I am talking about... I included the umbrella base with the centerpiece, that shows to top mount, and also photos of the umbrella base without the centerpiece......

Make sure this is compatible with your umbrella. I ordered with a Arlmont & Co. cantilevered umbrella and had to pay to return the base. I found another Arlmont & Co. base that was compatible.

The stand is the most durable! Highly recommend!
