Char-Griller Akorn Kamado Charcoal Grill

Delivery was extremely frustrating and poorly handled. I was originally told the BBQ would arrive on Tuesday, then received a message Monday morning saying it would be delivered that day instead. I rearranged my work schedule to be home — it never arrived. The following day it was back on schedule, so my partner stayed home to wait for it. Again, it didn’t arrive. To make things worse, the app marked it as “delivered” and even showed a photo — but it was clearly a completely different house. After contacting Wayfair, it was rescheduled again. This time we were told we were 4th on the delivery list, which gave us some confidence it might actually turn up. It finally did arrive, but not in great condition. The box was delivered on its side, and when my partner asked if the driver could take it around to the side gate (as it’s quite heavy), they refused and suggested she roll it instead. At this point, who knows what the BBQ has been through in transit. To be fair, the box looks reasonably intact and the product itself seems sturdy, so I’m hopeful it hasn’t been damaged — but the delivery experience was far from acceptable.

Item arrived with areas of damage, paint chipped and flaking left paint flakes all over my floor, rusted areas on handles, sticky glue substance all over the legs, paint inside is bulging and if pressed down with my finger it will most likely flake entirely off. Cotton from inner module coming out unsure of why this is coming out or if I can safely remove the exposed pieces without cause issues that will compromise insulation and integrity once in use, possibly not sealed adequately, looks like quality control failed prior to boxing and shipping out and me having to deal with a 100lbs box!

Awesome grill! My hubby loves it and the food tastes soo good....especially steak. Easy to put together and the wheels make it easy to move around, it does not take up alot of room either.

Amazing all in 1 grill. Smoke, grill, sear, this unit will not disappoint. Great in retaining heat if you are doing low and slow. It’s almost like set and forget. Would recommend to a friend.

I love this product. This is my second one. Delivery is horrible
