Otmar 182cm H x 2cm W Metal Fan Trellis

Quality is great. Using to close off an open end of my front porch. Will be perfect for a vine to clime next spring.

I am happy with my purchase. Material is not flimsy at all. Im replacing my wooden trelis with this iron one.

The stock photo and instructions show that the middle piece has a male adapter end and a female adapter end. But in real life the middle piece has only male adapters. So you can only build the trellis with the three pieces (bottom, middle, top). I ordered these because it looked like you could mix and match. So my plan was to use one top and one bottom on the ends (2 panels tall) but couldn’t because the top and bottom pieces both have female adapters. I had to use a saw to cut the male adapter off the middle pieces to make a trellis with 4 panels. I’m currently gluing the cut off adapter onto the top piece so I can finish my project and make the 2 panel tall trellises for the ends. With the middle having no specific top/bottom label. I now realize I cut the wrong end off and have a few middle panels placed upside down. So if you want to use these as 2x 3-piece trellises then they are okay. But they are not good for using only 2 pieces or making it taller by stacking the middle pieces. They aren’t very sturdy. I think the stakes need to be longer. I got 4 sets planning 2 tall, 4 medium, and 2 short. I wanted to created a backdrop for my fountain and hopefully protect my plants from the soccer balls the neighbor kids keep kicking into my garden.
