Ambrea 3m W x 3m D Freestanding Awning

A neat piece of engineering and exactly what I was after to extend shading to the front of my summer house with one leg replaced by a wooden block at the top to enable it to be attached to the summer house itself. It is advertised as not being used in strong winds but I hope that it will cope with a reasonably stiff breeze as it is a bit of a fiddle to take the cover off and put it back on again. Update 16 Jun 2024: The awning cover has stood up well to some relatively strong winds and the stability of the frame has benefited from being attached to the summer house along one side. However, after some heavy rain, the water puddled quite badly in the first four panels at the front. This has been overcome by adding a network of intermediate supports made out of plastic conduit joined with conduit straight connectors cut out to fit over the existing bars (see photos below).

Absolutely outstanding! Looks amazing in my garden, it literally transforms my patio area, recommended!!:)
