Dakota Fields Avabelle Folding Garden Chair

About This Product

A mix of wood and PVC-coated polyester: Contemporary armchairs that are perfect for outdoors. Made from FSC eucalyptus and PVC-coated polyester, these two beautiful armchairs have a contemporary style. They are perfectly suited for outdoor use. The wood comes from Uruguayan FSC plantations and is coated with a tinted oil. This oil preserves it more and gives it a colour that is as close to the rough as possible. PVC-coated polyester is a material perfectly suited for outdoor use and does not deteriorate with bad weather. Practically, the armchairs are foldable and can be stored easily.

Product Care: This set of armchairs is covered with a tinted oil during its manufacture. The impregnation of the oil varies according to the wood species. There may be a small residue. Be sure to remove it with a cloth before first use. You don't need to put oil on your new garden item, you can wait until summer is over. Eucalyptus FSC is a living material. As a result, its appearance changes over time and some cracks appear. This is normal and it is what makes the authentic charm so much appreciated of hardwood. Although robust and weather-resistant, eucalyptus FSC requires a little maintenance in order to prolong its life. Daily, remove leaves, stagnant water and dust. Wash off stains and food residue with soapy water with a sponge. If your structure is very dirty, you can use a small hard brush. In spring and late summer, clean your patio furniture well and let it dry. Once the woodwork is completely dry, apply a thin coat of oil. Be careful, make sure that it will not rain for 24 hours after applying the oil. If your garden furniture has been exposed to a lot of downpours, you may notice that the surface fibres have swollen a little and that the whole is rougher to the touch. To remedy this, sand lightly with fine-grained sandpaper until a smooth appearance is achieved. When sanding is complete, apply a coat of oil to restore the patio chairs to their original colour. The oil layer is what keeps patio furniture from stains and helps it cope with pollution, weather and mould. If you choose to let your Eucalyptus furniture age, without applying the oil twice a year, it will take on a pretty silver colour. However, it will no longer be protected. Store it away from moisture in a cool and ventilated place. If you protect it with a cover, choose polyester ones over PVC ones. Do not put your garden furniture in contact with direct or too strong heat. Do not leave a damp sponge on the wood for too long, it makes it rough to the touch.
