Bough this as a gazebo/frame for grapevine. It works ok for me. What I would say is that the engineering is not perfect. I wouldn't expect much more for the price but be aware it's not a high precision construction. That said, it fitted together ok and is strong enough. I like that it is fairly minimal looking. I've not tried with the sun shades so can't comment.
