About This Product

This Youngs Sun Lounger is made of solid wood using over 25 years of experience in garden furniture production. It is a strong choice for your patio, garden, or pool area. Simple yet robust construction, high-quality materials, 3 layers of water-based coating, and classical design make it a durable and nice part of your garden. This lounger will guarantee you a great time outdoors while you catch the sun. All that is left, is the pleasure to rest!

Features

The product is made of pine: it is a natural material and therefore may be affected by changes in weather conditions. High temperature and low humidity periods outside can cause shrinkage, cracks, splits of some components, or resin release. Larger sections of timber will be splitting more but this will not affect the structural stability of the product. These processes cannot be avoided but to reduce or eliminate changes follow the maintenance and proper use instructions included with the product.

Product Care: The furniture nevertheless needs to be washed regulary with a mild cleaner to prevent dirt from forming a substrate for mould. When the effect of the water-repellent diminishes, the furniture should be treated with a colourless glaze for outdoor use (water- or oil-based). We recommend that you do this at least once a year. After one or several seasons, if the colour of the furniture starts to fade, it may be necessary to repaint the furniture. Then, after you have washed and dried the furniture, it should be lightly sanded with fine sandpaper and treated with a pigment glaze (according to the instructions of the glaze you use). Store the garden furniture in a cool, frost-free, dry, weatherproof room for the winter season. Be certain to avoid: - heated spaces such as boiler rooms (this could cause cracks in the wood), and - airtight coverings (this could lead to stains or mould caused by condensation). When the furniture is exposed to high temperatures (over 35 degrees C), the resin may become a liquid and ooze out, especially around knots. The fresh resin can be removed with a little pure alcohol/ethanol or white spirit on cloth. Dried/crystallised resin should be scraped off carefully without damaging the paint. For resin on fabric, follow the above recommendations.

Leider waren die Schrauben in beiden Paketen falsch sortiert, wir haben uns das dann irgendwie hingebastelt, aber schön war das nicht!!!
