Excellently detailed statue of Venus de Arles originally carved in 1st Century BC. It was found buried in 1651 and given to Loius XIV and displayed in Versailles and now in Musee du Louvre. The pose depicts the Judgement of Paris, with Venus holding an apple and small hand mirror. Just a stunning Roman Classical statue that will make any garden look perfect.

Love the look of her..beautiful. Packing was very good.. Although it did arrive on its head and not as the packaging said on its side!!!

I purchased this statue for my husband, for an anniversary gift. He absolutely loves it. He placed it on a plinth under an arbor near our outdoor aviary. It is a very graceful addition to our garden.

This a beautiful statue and adds to my other Roman/Greek statues in my yard. Very good quality.
