This is attractive and rustic, but I've only given it four stars because it is actually a bird box with a string coming out of the roof to hang it up. No window on front and sides, only cut outs. A reviewer mentions gnomes etc, but nothing else comes with this house, despite the photo and misleading product description suggesting otherwise.

I bought "George" over 10 yrs ago. He sits in a planter by my front door. Keeps some door salesmen away. Very well constructed. One eye is cloudy now, but it lasted 9 yrs perfectly. The artistry is excellent especially at this price. All other parts look as good as the day I got it. Ididn't put anything on it to protect it. The eyes are the very best part, they are bright, and stunning. Would buy again.
