Too light for a free standing umbrella in the wind. Has rusted quickly and doesn't hold the umbrella vertical.

No complaints here! Arrived quickly and in one piece. The umbrella base is very sturdy, high quality, heavy, simple yet stunning and will do the job! Very easy to assemble the two pieces together, cant wait to try my umbrella out this summer!

This is a great smaller umbrella stand. Goes great with our painted metal table. We are able to use it with our set up using a 9ft umbrella, but our table offers extra stability. Be mindful of how big your umbrella is if you plan to use it free standing (it won’t support a 9ft umbrella on its own). Also be mindful of any “track” your table has. Ours was too low and we had to modify the stand (literally cut the metal tube shorter) to make it fit.

The package arrived damaged and the turn knob to hold an umbrella in place was broken. Even stillthis is a very nice quality umbrella base! It is a heavy weighted plastic base with a pretty design.
