As a cheaper alternative to the cement filled weights these are well worth considering. They are well constructed and the cap appears water tight so far. I needed 100kg for the base of my parasol and each block, when filled a large bag of kiln dried sand topped up with water, weighed just over 25kg each.

These 4 segment plastic weights were ordered to go with a cantilever parasol that required a base weight of 100kg. When filled with water the total weight achieved was 60kg so they were not fit for purpose and had to be returned. The segments are very large and thin. 2 of the segments leaked at the filler cap. The product description states the total capacity to be 60 litres. This is correct. It should state the weight. The product is ok but the technical description is not!
