Carennac Scroll Backrest Iron Garden Bench

I bought two of these benches for outside my condo. I haven't put them together yet, but they arrived in good condition and are solid pieces. I can't wait to put them together and have my outdoor conversation area near the wildflowers and bird feeders. Everything I've purchased from Wayfair has been outstanding.

This bench is great for the price however it is more for decor than for using

The verdict is still out on this one. After reading the reviews about the inclination to rust in an outdoor setting I nearly returned the bench, but I liked its appearance, so, I over-painted it with flat black Rustoleum. So far, so good, but it has only been out for a week. UPDATE - the Rustoleum paint has kept the bench rust free. 2nd Update: Still rust free!!

Perfect for the fire pit

Do not purchase this product. This bench was delivered on Sunday, July 27, 2025. We put it together the next day, July 28th. We placed the bench in my garden. It rained during the night and I was totally dismayed to find rust spots on the bench the next day. You can see evidence in the pictures of previous dings and scratches which were ineptly painted over. Needless to say I can’t pack up this mess and return it, sooooo I will have to sand the spots and repaint it I expected the longevity of the bench to exceed 24 hours outside. This is my first ever disappointment with a product purchased through Wayfair. They remain my go-to option! I will spend longer reading reviews.
