Item arrived damaged but for the price its ok

The material is strong but also quite stretchy as it isn't very thick, so not suitable if you are looking for fairly firm support in the hammock.

BYER BEWARE! This item looks attractive and that is where it ends!! It is a health & safety hazard for the older generation, for whom I purchased this item. My 83 year old father fell out and hurt himself. I tried myself to lie in it and did the same! If you are wanting to buy a hammock, go for a wider one. This is dreadful. I live in Australia and my father the UK. He didn't want to tell me that he had hurt himself, trying to use the gift I had purchased him, online. When I arrived in the UK, I asked why it wasn't hanging up and he told me. Upon contacting Wayfair, they refused to exchange it, despite it being unused and still as it had arrived, as it was past the 30 days. I explained the situation and asked to swap for a wider one but Dean M did not care.... Pretty disgusting actually.
