Don’t hold ice for longer than a day no good for short
Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Bought this item just over a week and we recently took it away from 3 days and it’s incredible, maintained the perfect chilled temperature within the dryzone drawer and there was still chunks of ice within coolers main unit. If I had the option to give 6 stars I would.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We waited a few days before reviewing the Ninja Frostvault so we could properly test it during our Easter road-trip to see family in the South of France. When it arrived, it was definitely bigger than I expected—sturdy, stylish, and really well made. It’s a bit on the heavier side, especially when loaded up, but manageable with two people. The pull-along handle feels strong, and surprisingly, it’s actually comfortable to sit on. A great little detail is the drainage plug at the back, which makes it easy to get rid of melted ice water. This cooler seems best suited to people who frequently go on day trips, camping, or festivals—or, like us, long road trips. If you’re planning to take it in the car, you’ll need a decent-sized boot or room on the back seat. Instead of ice cubes, we bought the Ninja Ice Packs (a large one plus two smaller ones), along with the divider that doubles as a chopping board. Honestly, I think that the divider should just come with the Frostvault—it’s super useful for keeping things separate. Same goes maybe for at least one lock, since it’s not a cheap bit of kit. Including a couple of these extras (or offering a bundle deal) would make a lot of sense. On our 2½-day journey, everything stayed ice-cold—drinks, sandwiches, even chocolate in the dry drawer. It was a huge step up from our old cool box, which could barely keep things cool overnight. On arrival, I left things in the Ninja and even after four days, the ice packs are still cold, with the one in the dry drawer feeling almost freezer-level cold. I haven’t tried regular ice cubes yet, but I think the blocks are the way to go unless you're using it for a garden party or beach picnic. The Frostvault is smartly designed, sleek, and honestly pretty cool to roll around—would definitely fit right in at a festival. The wheels handle all sorts of terrain smoothly—grass, cement, cobblestones, you name it. For road trips and camper vans, this size works perfectly. That said, a smaller version might be great for casual users—picnics, family outings, or just something that fits easily in the car boot without taking up too much space. Overall I would highly recommend.
