Perfect!

Just the right size and very good quality and the grandsons love it

We've had this sandpit for a while now it's ok, the main issue I have is with the canopy. Firstly raising the canopy up and lowering it is a 2 person job, trying to do it alone, running back and forth loosening each side and edging it upwards is not convenient. Secondly, after just a few weeks the wooden posts that the canopy is tightened into is warping and the result is that no matter how secure you think it is at the top, it randomly swings vertical which is not great for the unsuspecting child in the sandpit. The canopy is also meant to act as a raincover however it is useless in this regard. It is velcroed on, so the water collects and when there is enough water weight the velcro simply gives way, tipping the water into the sandpit. This sandpit could really do with a special cover - the seats make it hard to buy one for it. I'm going to try and use it again this summer but I'll have to remove the canopy part and buy a parasol and buy a tarp to cover it. Not ideal considering how expensive this was to buy, I didn't expect all these issues and additional costs.

Really happy I purchased this as it's a quality product that will last and give hours of fun and enjoyment x the added protection of the sun canopy means It's safer in the heat of the sun too ! Highly recommend

I have been a bit disappointed with the quality of this sandpit. The canopy is very flimsy and after about 5 or 6 times of lowering it to cover the sandpit so that cats don't use it as a litter tray (which happened while we were on holiday and it was a NIGHTMARE having to empty it) it has given way on one side and the wood has completely come away from the nails. It's also happening with both of the pieces of wood that support the canopy while it's being lowered. If windy conditions I couldn't trust my daughter to be in there incase it blew off! The base of the pit is great however and I love the seats. We will need to build our own wooden cover for it though as the rain also gathers in a pool on top of the canopy and then runs into the sandpit when you take it off, which subsequently soaks the sand.
