The quality of this picnic bench is outstanding from the wood to the fixings. Excellent

First the good bits. It's a nice size-8 can be seated comfortably. It was relatively straightforward to put together-I was able to build it with the help of my 14 year old son. The not so good bits. The quality of the wood leaves a bit to be desired. There are some significant cracks which I will have to treat as well as lots of pine resin drips and blobs to clean up. I'm going to have to repair, sand, treat and paint it, if it's going to last more than a couple of years. Finally, although most of it fits together well, the brace below the seat does not meet the legs, so there is an unsatisfactory gap of about 2cm through which the screws are visible. I guess this is the downside of not buying top end goods.
