Blakeley Wood Potting Bench

I have been able to do my hanging baskets and redo my spring pots ready for new bulbs in just two afternoons. . I used to have to do them one at a time as bending over made my back ache. So weather permitting even just 3 hanging baskets took me all week. A potting table has made the garden jobs so much easier.

Wanted to return it very soon after getting out of box but didn’t because I had been looking forward to having what looked like a lovey traditional potting bench, what arrived was a very cheap version sadly. The wood is very flimsy and no plastic feet! When I finally put it together it looked ok but as I said very flimsy wouldn’t take much weight and don’t know how long it will last outside. I ended up putting tape on feet. I will see how long it will last but to be honest I don’t hold out much hope for long. Sorry I cannot recommend.

Right size and height. Only 2 star ‘cos no plastic feet arrived although these were advertised. Lightweight and the top was a bit skew-whiff but I wasn’t expecting sturdiness or careful finish at that price. Shelf is a sensible height to take flower buckets underneath.

So pleased with my potting bench, just what I was looking for for my small greenhouse. Looks neat and tidy in the greenhouse and just the right height for my potting up and other garden jobs. Shelf at the bottom is very handy.
