Step2 254cm W Plastic Climber

My daughter loves the climber! She has learned how to climb the steps and go down the slide all by herself after her first time playing on it.

This climber is AMAZING, my 17 month old daughter instantly LOVED it. The only negative, and reason for the 4 starts instead of 5 is the holes meant to fit the cap screws snuggly are to large and make it impossible to get the necessary resistance using the ratchet. We had to use needle nose pliers to hold the nyts in place. It took 2 of us and a LOT more time and patience than should be necessary. The rest of the assembly was a breeze and we still highly recommend the product. Just make sure your patience level is high for assembly.

My product had factory defects, and also there is a big design flaw in the RED Footholds. When fully assembled it was out of alignment so that part of the core structure is not seated properly decreasing stability and is a concern for safety. The RED Footholds do not have the nuts already in them which is painfully difficult because once you do seat the nut then you have to hold the foothold sideways and the nut wants to fall out. You're doing all this while trying to apply pressure from the opposite sides with a nut driver tool. Also the bolts are too short and one one of mine it wouldn't even catch the thread of the nut so it wouldn't install.
