I've yet to try this out but the coals sit on a removable shelf well down in the bucket. My previous version had a removable bowl for the charcoal which sat higher in the bucket and was more easily removable for cleaning etc. However, it seems study enough and should do the job.

Really different for a small BBQ cooks well and easy to clean
