While overall the product is excellent, there was some damage to some posts on delivery. There were also 3 missing poles making the connection of the tarp impossible. However very prompt customer service to a high standard were able to support me with a solution although the whole experience was highly inconvenient. The pergola was overall easy to assemble. It was just tedious with to many bolts, probably took about 5 hours total. Would take less with 2 people. 2 people are definitely needed to assemble. The pergola is super sturdy and well made. We bolted it right on to the deck. It rained last night so I can say it prevents water from leaking through the top which is a nice addition to our deck. 1010 recommend for the price and convenience.
