Ordering was easy. Delivery came quickly. Assembly was very difficult. I couldn’t understand the instructions about which screws to use for the different steps. Great bench perfect for any size garden. Storage part is not waterproof, but is a handy storage area. I have kept a waterproof bag in mine so that I can keep blankets etc in. So easy to put together, two of us put it together just so one could stabilise while the other screwed it together but could be put together with one person. Our outdoor storage benches are made using vintage style apple crates, they are raised off the ground with rubber feet to prevent the wood sitting on wet surfaces, the lids are hinged and upholstered in 12 ounce canvas which is a Polyester / Cotton mix. This fabric is perfect for use outside due to it being flame retardant, water, rot and mildew resistant. This is a neat and simple looking bench with planter. I do like it. Unfortunately there were 2 problems. The plastic on one of the panels was warped, making its assembly challenging. On of the panels had a small piece broken off on the rim. One is definitely a transit issue, one maybe the wrong storage, if stored too hot in either the warehouse or transit. Not worth sending back. Will try to glue the broken part later today. The twice delayed despatch I put down to the current conditions. But as I said, nice product.
