This is such a well observed “toy” car. It looks so like a real mini, and is very sturdy for the price. I love the opening doors, the headlights, the way the on off button looks like a real ignition switch and the charger plugging in at the fuel cap. The remote control is great - but note that your toddler can still turn the wheel, overriding what the remote does. The drive wheel does need a flat surface so a couple of lumpy patches on my lawn did cause slight problems (wheel spinning). My only gripe is that the battery charging doesn’t cut off automatically so you’re supposed to ensure you don’t charge for more than 6 hours, and for me the car charger light has never changed from red to green to show when fully charged (as I’d expected from the instructions). It took about an hour to put together and it is important to follow the order in the instructions, which are ok rather than perfect. I was expecting the battery to be died by the time we got it out the box but much to my surprise it wasn’t (which saved a lot of stress!), I love the fact that it has a parental control so it’s safe to use and you don’t have to worry about them turning into road etc. Assembly was really easy and literally took 10 mins. It’s really robust and good quality so will last hopefully a good while! My little girl seems comfortable in it which is a bonus!
