First of all I want to say Do not by Road pro products for any reason at any time, they are horrible from their cbs2 the refrigerators to their tools everything they make is complete and other junk so do not buy anything from RoadPro. Also they try and trick you into doing business with them by giving you some useless $10 Visa card that you cannot use anywhere not online or not in the store. Now that I've gotten that out of the way, this koolatron cooler is the best one ever. I've been driving for 20 years as a long-haul truck driver, and I have tried many of these. The only one that consistently performs well is the koolatron and this particular size seems to be easy to Lug around in and out of the truck, the design is ex to keep by the seat while you are driving and it's easy to get to. I had one that lasted almost 10 years and the plug in part finally quit on me and I did not feel like buying a new end. Otherwise it probably would have lasted another 10 years because you must periodically, a couple of times a month, blow out the mechanism and motor with a compressor to blow all the dirt and dust out of it. As long as you keep the dust and the dirt out of the moving Parts with the compressor, it will last you forever and it does a great job. I will say that the hinges broke shortly after I got it, but the company was nice enough to send me some new hinges. I eventually just ended up using it without the hinges because they broke too. The handle is kind of flimsy and you do have to attach it from time to time but as far as keeping things cold and a convenience and moving it around and lugging it from place to place, there is no other that is better. Some of them are too big to keep everything cold and too big to Lug around. Some of them are too small to really put anything in. This one is perfect. And I am speaking from 20 years of experience with these types of coolers.. Georgette. Texas. Thu Jul 01 2021

Convenient iceless cooling, especially designed for tight spaces: Efficient thermoelectric technology and a unique slim shape make this 17L cool box/warmer perfect for days out with the family. Simply plug the included power cord into your vehicle's 12V receptacle for reliable cooling with no ice or ice packs taking up valuable space and add Koolatron's AC adapter (sold separately) to seamlessly transfer from your vehicle to indoors.

Love this cooler! It thin profile fits perfectly on the passenger seat of my camper van, and leaves room for other things I want in hands reach. I bought the AC adapter so I can both plug into the cigarette lighter when I"m driving, or use the standard household 110 outlets when I'm plugged into shore power at RV parks. Customer service was helpful and responsive to emailed questions (I'm not always in cell range). I haven't use the warmer except once when I accidently plugged in that side...it would have kept a dinner warmed for sure! But I usually use it to keep dairy products and drinks cool, and that works great.. Aricar. Los Angeles, CA. Wed Jul 28 2021
