Easy to assemble, although the nut and bolt seemed quite dainty for it. Hope they will last. Our fireplaces are fully assembled and ready for immediate use. When a campfire burns, soot and ash are produced. If grilling is done on an open fire or in conjunction with the grill grate (accessories), the fireplace is sprayed with grease. This is unavoidable. The claim to clean a fireplace after use contradicts the original handling of the fire. For this reason, we use weatherproof sheet steel that oxidizes over time, which gives character and personality to the appearance of the fireplace. There is no grill grate for this fire pit, but of course stick bread or sausages can be grilled on a stick. flash Blank, weatherproof steel (the rust patina develops over time).
