I think the door/ gate is quite flimsy. How it will cope in the rain I'm not sure. For a start I had to build it. The centre lat could have done with being 10mm longer. The deep screw holes at the bottom rail only 1 screw actually attached to the sides the other is a bit of space and then into the lat. As for the holes I will have to fill them with clear silicone as they will fill with water and start to rot! A deep 40mm hole. Would I buy this gate again? No I definitely wouldn't, there are some design faults. Which I feel I will actually have to add a 90 degree angle to to reinforce. Especially the bottom rail. The last are nice and thick as is the trellis. I just think the outer frame needs a serious upgrade. Diane. Hull. Wed Dec 31 2025
