I've had this for a couple of years now and we still love it. It's outdoors year round in the Pacific Northwest and is holding up very well. I did buy a metal lid separately to protect the fire pit from all the pine needles. I do cover it with the included cover when it's not in use. The fire pit has held up very very well. I got the fire pit that is setup for natural gas. I had a line installed under my deck when I replaced my deck. So no need to have a tank to hide or worry about running out of propane.
