Its really lovely. It took a bit of putting together. I found the easiest way was to slot the seat together then turn it over and rest it on the v corner of the kitchen table, then attach the legs. You have to make sure the 3 seat panels that make up the back of the seat, are the correct way up as its easy to place them upside down, the slim end should go to the top of the seat. The top brace bit is the tension holding all the seat together and so the legs don't spray out all over (like Bambie!) I unfortunately put them in upside down at first lol, and couldn't understand why the screw holes where in the wrong place. Anyway after much faffing (and a few obscenities) I got it together. This is a neat and simple looking bench with planter. I do like it. Unfortunately there were 2 problems. The plastic on one of the panels was warped, making its assembly challenging. On of the panels had a small piece broken off on the rim. One is definitely a transit issue, one maybe the wrong storage, if stored too hot in either the warehouse or transit. Not worth sending back. Will try to glue the broken part later today. The twice delayed despatch I put down to the current conditions. But as I said, nice product. This pretty wooden companion seat would look great in the garden or on the patio, the seat is made from FSC acacia wood and can seat two people comfortably. The shelf between the chairs is an ideal location for drinks and books etc and the shelf is drilled with a hole to allow the insertion of a parasol if you desire shade.

The item we received was not the one shown above ,so really not happy with the purchase .We did phone to complain ,and was given the choice to return it or be given a discount ,which my husband accepted .
