Our outdoor bar stools are made using vintage-style apple crates, they are raised off the ground with rubber feet to prevent the wood from sitting on wet surfaces, the lids are hinged and upholstered in 12-ounce canvas which is a Polyester / Cotton mix. This fabric is perfect for use outside due to it being flame retardant, water, rot and mildew resistant. These bar stools are good quality . I can tell by how heavy the metal is and how thick the rattan fabric is .
