This is such a large and solid item with a brilliant range of movement it’s really impressive. My only disappointment was some really poor stitching on the fabric. I sorted it and hope this was a one off as it really does seem like a great quality item. This comes with a base but YOU NEED WEIGHTS. Even when not windy. The poles size is 38mm which is a standard size that will fit in most garden sets the pole is made from brushed aluminium with a crank handle built-in that makes it easy to wind up or down.

Parasol is just perfect for our sitting area. Four people can sit around our table and not worry about getting wet if it starts to rain.
