Parasol material light, edges fraying and stitching loose. Wood pole coloured the most vile orange and the top was rubber. Cannot recommend. Very light ribs on the parasol. Seems of good quality especially for the price (others I looked at ranged from £100 to £700). It is quite heavy. Metal pole is likely to be more durable than the fragile wooden ones I've had in the past. The winder mechanism is good and enables my mother to raise and lower it using her one good hand.
