Purchased this to replace and old bench that had seen better days. Liked it because of the pop up table element Arrived on time however the delivery was left outside my front door with no attempt to make contact. The box was damaged in two areas with large punctures but luckily the bench was not damaged. My only criticism a part from the courier is, there was no instructions on how to assemble the bench. It has numbered stickers on the parts would point to instructions being needed but none in the box or available on the website. Managed to put it together but needed some thought, two people and about 45 mins Now its built, very happy with the product ( Would have given 5 stars if there had been instructions). Steven W.. This pretty wooden companion seat would look great in the garden or on the patio, the seat is made from FSC acacia wood and can seat two people comfortably. The shelf between the chairs is an ideal location for drinks and books etc and the shelf is drilled with a hole to allow the insertion of a parasol if you desire shade.

The item we received was not the one shown above ,so really not happy with the purchase .We did phone to complain ,and was given the choice to return it or be given a discount ,which my husband accepted . I would have given this five stars because it looks fab and is just what I wanted. However, when I was screwing in the provided screws in the pre-drilled holes the wood split slightly in a couple of places. Having put it all together I didnt want to take it all apart again to send it back as the splits cant be seen. This bench fits perfectly in my space and the quality is okay, but it arrived damaged. One piece has a crack in it (it was not wrapped in anything protective, just all the wood in a box), but I figured it was going to be a bigger hassle to send it back and get a new one (which I assume would also be cracked) so I just used some wood glue and it seems fine for now. Need to use a bit of common sense when assembling as either one leg was mislabelled (most likely) or the instructions were wrong. Feels solid to sit on yet easy to move.
