The sizes listed are the total post-to-post gap that the gates will fit into, the hinge and latch gaps are already accounted for. The physical width of the gates is less than the listed width. The side shoulder height is 820mm rising to a central height of 1255mm on top of the spear finial. Electro-galvanized for added rust resistance and powder-coated black, the finish must be inspected and any chips touched up. The galvanizing is not a 100% rustproof guarantee. The panel’s looked smaller and thinner than the pictures I wanted them to border a front garden area but they didn’t look good enough or tall enough so items were sent back although I wasn’t happy about having to pay £20 to return the items wayfair should be offering free returns as a standard to give buyers more confidence as your buying from a website when you haven’t had chance to see the items in person.
